1991 Fender Stratocaster Plus Ultra, Alder, Lace Sensors, Rare Firestorm Red Finish - USED

(USED) Here's a color we hadn't seen up until now, it appears that they were produced in pretty limited numbers.  This is a USA-made alder Stratocaster Plus Ultra in Firestorm Red.  It has some distinctive features like single coil Lace Sensor pickups (popular on certain Clapton Strats at the time), a rolling nut, locking tuners and a pearloid pick guard.  

The nut is 1 11/16" and the neck has a C profile, measuring .833" at the first fret and .88" at the ninth.  

Though it has an excellent setup, it was a player and is showing its age a bit.  The jumbo frets are in really good shape, some light pitting but no immediate attention needed.  There is some finish wear on the maple fingerboard.  The body has a handful of dings and some vague shallow scratching all around (the kind you might get when a guitar lays on top of a pile of sheet music for 35 years).  All that said, it's ready to serve again.  The guitar itself weighs 8lbs 14oz.  

Includes non-original hard case, in fair to good condition.
