1974 Guild D25 Dreadnought, Spruce Top, Mahogany Back/Sides - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) From the heady days of the early '70s, this Guild has obviously seen many, many hours of play time.  That ain't a bad thing, it may not be the prettiest guitar in the store but it's a total workhorse, a fine sounding dread with nothing to prove.

This D25 has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back with pressed arch construction and a skinny mahogany neck with a shallow C profile.  Nut measures just under 1 11/16" and the string spacing at the saddle is 2 1/8".  Tuners are original 3 on a plate.  This guitar weighs in at 5lbs 2oz.

Condition?  Overall fine, lots of scratches, dings, belt rash, pick scrapes and lacquer checking.  The bridge appears to have been shaved from the top (a common modification meant to forestall a neck reset) and there is decent saddle height and good action.  The bridge was re-glued at one point and there is some noticeable color touchup all around it.  Frets appear to have been leveled once or twice and are only displaying minor wear.  Includes hard case.
