1910s Gibson Mandola, Oval Hole, Adirondack Spruce, Maple, Sunburst - USED

(USED) Here is a wonderful sounding Gibson mandola from the turn of the last century, in great condition for its age!  This one is a classic for sure, with a beautiful vintage sunburst, nicely ambered binding and rosette, and just enough character to make it a player's instrument.  There are a few light finish cracks in the top, and one ding on the shaft of the neck, but otherwise the condition is very fine.  The tuners are working just as they should.  The back is particularly clean, and the maple grain shows nicely through the red stain.

Adirondack spruce top, maple back and sides, ebony fingerboard with large dot inlays.  "The Gibson" inlaid on the peghead and engraved on the tail piece.  1 5/16" ebony nut.  No truss rod.  Includes hard case.

Setup is great after some TLC from Louis Stiver.   She's all ready to serve another 100+ years!
