A Different Thread is a transatlantic duo weaving Old World folk traditions with contemporary Americana/Alt-Country storytelling, led by Alicia Best from North Carolina and UK-born Robert Jackson. Pittsburgh-based singer-songwriter brad yoder has been writing and performing original songs for over 30 years.
Brad was a 2023 and 2021 Kerrville New Folk Finalist, a 2018 Wildflower Arts Fest finalist, and 5-time Pittsburgh City Paper "Best Acoustic/Solo Artist.” His songs have appeared on network TV, and in a museum exhibit; Brad also plays saxophones.
The show - seating is extremely limited! We are offering pre-sale on 60 tickets and then will revert to standing room only on the day of the show. Doors at 6:30pm, music starting around 7pm. $20 guarantees a seat, though not any seat in particular! First come, first pick. This show will be BYOB. Please call us at the shop with any questions!
