The Satin Series instruments are modern day classics, unparalleled in their price range.  This one figures Engelmann spruce, known for its warmth, quick response and musical character.  The maple back and sides have multi-dimensional flame to add a visual interest to an already fulfilling sonic experience.  

Everything else is classic F-style mandolin, albeit in reverse: standard 1 1/18" nut width, tobacco sunburst, bound black plastic pick guard, compound radius ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, cast tailpiece, Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons, satin lacquer finish.  The case on this one has been upgraded to a white Airloom Tura carbon fiber case (fits like a glove, nice and light!)
