Lates 1960s Gibson EM200 "Florentine" Mandolin, 2-Point, Mahogany - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) Ready for a mandolin that feels, looks and kinda sounds like a Les Paul?  This EM200 from (we think) 1967 can help your rock and roll mandolin dreams become a reality.  These were introduced in the 50s and had a pretty long run... and unlike Fender's electric mandolin offerings from the same era, these have 8 strings and a fat sounding P90 pickup!

Solid mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard and bridge base, engraved Gibsom tailpiece cover, amber top hat knobs.  Wide 1 3/16" nut width.  Gold Kluson tuners.

Condition is great with a little finish chipping near the binding on the bass side of the top, a few superficial dings and light fret wear.  Bet you're wondering what it weighs?  More than your mandolin!  Haha!  Instrument comes in at 5 lbs, 1 oz.  Includes original hard case.
