Bourgeois MFO Octave Mandolin, Adirondack Spruce, Maple, Black Top - NEW

(NEW) Always fun when somebody joins the octave mandolin party, and Bourgeois' entry has their usual satisfying level of tone, playability and good looks.  The MFO has an Aged Tone (torrefied) Adirondack spruce top, maple back/sides/neck, and comes standard with a gloss finish on the body (black on top, mahogany stain on the back/sides) and satin finish on the neck.  

The scale length is 21" and the 1 3/8" nut width splits almost perfectly between standard mandolin and guitar nut widths, for those who moonlight on one or the other.  The fingerboard is ebony with dot inlays.  Custom James engraved tailpiece for easy string changes.  Tuners are Golden Age with ivoroid buttons, and the instrument comes in a durable cloth-covered hard case.
