2016 Collings MT2-O, Cream Adirondack Top, Maple B/S - USED

(USED) They say the cream always rises to the top... when you're already at the top, then what happens?  If you're pondering a Collings mandolin, you my friend are at the top.  Like they did with acoustic and electric guitars, their contribution to mandolins has been profound, and they're making some of the finest, most well balanced, most roadworthy instruments available.  Bill may be gone, but he taught 'em right.

This delightful MT2-O was built just over a decade ago, was and remains a pretty rare thing.  Based on early cream-top oval holes, this one updates the concept in all the right ways.  Adirondack spruce top, burgundy-stained maple back/sides/neck.  1 3/16" (wider) bone nut.  Compound radius ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, Collings tailpiece.  High gloss finish.

Condition is great with a few inoffensive swipe marks... no crazy dings, no structural issues, very mild fret wear under the unwound courses.  A bit of evidence of clip on tuners, nothing a good buff won't handle... Includes original hard case.
