(NEW) What a treat!  Eastman has bestowed upon us a handful of next-level prototypes, and to say that we're impressed would be quite an understatement.  This one is a Grand Auditorium size with all the trimmings.  It has a lovely, tight-grained European spruce top and aged Eucalyptus back and sides.  The Eucalyptus has a tone that hits our ears somewhere between mahogany and walnut, strong fundamental with great sustain.  The figuring is very pleasing, almost resembling snake wood.  

From there, the deluxe appointments start flowing... fully bound in mahogany, comfort bevel, sound port, excellent purfling touches and miters throughout.  Ebony fingerboard with abalone hurricane inlays, ebony belly bridge with nice tall saddle.  Cutaway, of course!  1 3/4" nut, 2 5/32" bridge, long scale.  Gold Gotoh SG301 tuners.  This guitar has a one-piece mahogany neck and a dovetail neck joint.
