Huss & Dalton TOM-R, Italian Spruce, Exotic Indian Rosewood - NEW

(NEW) As a new era begins for Huss & Dalton, Brian and the team in Stanton are hungry to prove that they can still build with the best of 'em.  This TOM-R exceeded our expectations in every way.  It might sound a little cliché, but this one does sound as good as it looks.  

The top is straight-grained Italian spruce, which we love for its ample headroom and tonal complexity.  The back and sides are uncommonly figured Indian rosewood that seems to glow from the inside.  We couldn't stop there, though, we asked for a dark sunburst and that the body, neck and peghead all be bound in ivoroid, the matching tuner buttons on the H&D engraved Gotoh tuners.  

Traditional long 25.4" scale length, 1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  The neck is a mod V shape, measuring .852" thick at the first fret, .944" at the 9th.  The ebony fingerboard has no markers, but there are side dots on the bound edge.  

This one looks, sounds and feels like a high end OM should.  Includes hard case.
