Huss & Dalton OO Custom, Reclaimed Alaskan "Blue" Spruce, Cocobolo - NEW

(NEW) It is our great pleasure to unveil this very VERY special new guitar from Huss & Dalton!  This 12-fret OO/00 has some of the most eye-popping tone woods that we've seen in some time.  The top is reclaimed Alaskan "Blue" Sitka spruce that has striking bear claw figuring and silking going every which way.  The reclaimed spruce is treasured for its stiffness, and really does present as BLUE near the center seam.  Talk about a conversation starter!  But uh oh, what's this... just one of the most gorgeous sets of Cocobolo that we've ever seen!  The combination of these woods and the elegant appointments (double-bound maple trim around the body, bound neck and peghead, 3-ring rosette) make this one of the absolute prettiest guitars in our shop... but the SOUND!  The sound is rich, sparkly, very three dimensional.  Small guitar, big voice!

This one is short scale with a 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  The neck is a soft mod V shape.  The fingerboard is ebony with short-pattern diamond inlays, the bridge is ebony with bone drop-in saddle.  The tuners are nickel Waverly.
