Huss & Dalton OO Custom 12-Fret, Bear Claw Lutz Spruce, Tiger Myrtle, Sunburst - NEW

(NEW) Were you there when Huss & Dalton recently broke the internet with pictures of this enchanting OO?  We were, and now that it's in our hands we are not only going to fix the internet with some photos of our own, but also make some lucky player's whole year.  Yes, this is one of "those ones".  

Lutz spruce (think stiff, Euro spruce tone) with deep bear claw that can be no accident... Mother Nature knew exactly what she was doing with this tree!  The Tiger Myrtle?  Words probably ain't gonna cut it, but here goes: too many kinds of figuring and too many colors that you'll lose count, and a sound that could be described as triangulating maple, mahogany and koa.  Clarity and warmth with a strong lower midrange presence.  

Stop there?  Naw, let's just keep going!  Bloodwood body, neck and peghead binding, plus Bloodwood back strip and a carefully applied shade burst just bring this one to the visual top of the mountain.  It's one of those guitars that, when we ordered it, knew that it would look great... and now that it has arrived, it's a total stunner (Huss & Dalton seem to be pretty good at that!)

1 3/4" nut, 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle, short 24.9" scale.  The neck is a mod V shape and measures .81" at the first fret and .995" at the 9th.  The instrument weighs in at 3 lbs 9 oz.  We had this one built with a solid peghead (you're welcome, Slot-o-phobes) and fit with super-smooth Gotoh 510 tuners.  Includes hard case.
