(NEW) If you're tired of the big factory brands and their inconsistent tone and playability, this might be your chance to finally step up to a "serious" dreadnought, built by the impeccable team at Huss & Dalton. Their D-RH departs just slightly from the familiar formula, it has a slightly larger soundhole (bringing rumble and balance into the same conversation) with a tighter radius to the top and back (more projection) and forward-shifted Adirondack spruce bracing.
This one has a Sitka top, Indian rosewood back and sides and a mahogany neck with smooth satin finish. Appointments include fine herringbone top border and rosette, flamed maple body binding and zipper back strip. The scale is long 24.9" with 1 23/32" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. The neck shape is a soft/modified V, and the tuners are gold Schallers with ebony buttons. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins. Nice tall compensated bone saddle. Includes hard case.
This guitar might not draw a lot of attention with its classic looks, but it sounds and feels as good as anything! This is where it starts getting serious, folks!
