(NEW) We must say that we're having an absolute blast with Fairbanks guitars in 2026!  These have proven themselves to be some of the most legit looking/feeling/sounding vintage-style guitars being made today, and his jumbo in particular never fails to drop jaws in our store.

Here is a "Southern" style with torrefied Sitka spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck and natural top under light relic finish with checked lacquer all over.  Short 24 3/4" scale length, easy V neck profile with 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  The fingerboard and bridge are Madagascar rosewood, and the "Southern" appointments include quadruple body binding, fire stripe pickguard and large parallelogram fingerboard inlays.  The tuners are relic'd Waverly.  This guitar weighs a mere 3lbs, 9oz, coming in lighter than pretty much every other Gibby-style guitar in the store.  

What we're talking about here is a builder at the peak of his powers, building guitars that are 100% satisfying, not to mention inspiring.  Includes TKL Deluxe hard case.
