(NEW) There's no question, the Hill Country series are a big hit and (if it's possible) some of Collings' most high performance guitars.  The mahogany OM feels incredible, light in the hand, and has a quick response that we normally associate with well worn vintage guitars.  Worry not, though, it still has all the power, volume and articulation that Collings is known for... just with a warmer midrange and a bigger bass.  

Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck.  High gloss finish throughout.  Being a Hill Country, it has a set of hand-poured appointments exclusive to each individual guitar: pick guard, end wedge, hell cap and rosette details are all matched and from the same pour.  It has an ebony bridge, compound radius ebony fingerboard with rolled edges, and a blank ebony peghead overlay (the logo is embossed in the back of the headstock).  Long 25 1/2" scale with 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Waverly open gear tuners complete the package.

The Hill Country guitars represent Collings' biggest stretch from their original sound profile, and everyone is impressed!  Includes hard case.
