(NEW) When only the very best will do: Collings' Hill Country models are another certified hit for the company, taking their legendary build quality and injecting it was a warmer, more scooped midrange.  We hear these as clearly the most "Martin-esque" guitars they've made, from a tonal standpoint.  This particular instrument pushes the EQ as far in that direction as we've heard from Collings, and as part of a very limited run of Brazilian rosewood instruments, it's an instant classic.  

Tight-grained Adirondack spruce top, rare Brazilian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck.  Hill Country guitars each have a unique appointment set: the pick guard, end wedge, heel cap and rosette details are all from the same resin pour.  Ivoroid body binding, zipper back strip, Waverly tuners.  The Hill Country neck profile is a full-feeling mod V shape, reminiscent to earlier profiles like the Vintage Now neck.  This one measures .912" at the first fret, 1.065" at the ninth.  The nut is 1 3/4" and the string spacing is 2 5/16" at the saddle.  Long 25 1/2" scale length.  Includes hard case.
