(NEW) Here is our first Advanced Jumbo from Cirrus, which takes the familiar curved shoulders of the ubiquitous Gibby slope D and pairs them with long scale and a rosewood back/sides. This creates additional volume and horsepower, vs the short scale mahogany variant, and these are known as "Bone Crushers" for having the juice to outperform a Martin-style dread in flatpicking scenarios.
This one has Adirondack spruce for the top and braces, a gloss top on a beautifully rendered sunburst. The back and sides are Indian rosewood with an open-pore finish, and the neck is mahogany. The nut width is 1 3/4" and the string spacing at the saddle is 2 3/16". The neck has a low C shape that measures .899" at the first fret and .995" at the ninth.
The appointments are traditional to Gibson AJs with arrow inlays on the rosewood fingerboard, fire stripe pickguard, single ring rosette and arrow flourish on the peghead. The tuners are open-gear Gotoh, and a hard case is included.
Another exciting arrival from Cirrus!
