(NEW) A good L-00 certainly puts a smile on our faces here at AMW.  Everybody makes one, their popularity has probably never been higher, but certain makers are really able to transcend the boxy tonal nature of this shape to create something more warm and inviting... Atkin is one of those brands that seems to have cracked the code. 

This one has a great sound, quick responsiveness and classic good looks.  It's got a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck and a classic tobacco sunburst finish.  Like all Atkin guitars, the lacquer has been pre-checked to break the surface tension, adding openness to the sound while enhancing the vintage vibe.

Short 25" scale length, 1 11/16" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  The neck is a comfortable C shape, measuring .892" thick at the first fret and .904" at the ninth.  It has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, rosewood bridge with bone pins and a nice tall bone saddle.  The tuners are 3-on-a-plate Klusons with white knobs.  Hard case included.
