(NEW) There doesn't seem to be anything that Atkin doesn't do well, we love the warm, welcoming sound and the unapologetic vintage feel of their guitars.  We're big Jumbo fans around here, and we must say that Atkin seems to have cracked the code on this shape, the J-43 has boomin' Banner sound, classic good looks and excellent playability.  What else could we ask for?

This one has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck and a rosewood fingerboard.  It has a traditional sunburst and fine finish checking all over, which is one of the secrets to Atkin's open sound in a brand new guitar.  Antiqued plastic binding on top and back, single-band plastic rosette and fire stripe pick guard complete the look.  The neck is a C shape with 1 3/4" nut, 2 9/64" string spacing at the saddle and a short 25" scale length.  The tuners are Kluson Deluxe with white buttons. 

A VERY impressive entry into the crowded field of Gibby-style jumbos, and one that goes all the way to "old buddy" vintage, right out of the box!  Includes hard case.
