2015 Collings OM42, Sitka Spruce, Madagascar Rosewood - USED

(USED) This is the kind of thing we like to see!  This gorgeous Collings OM has a Sitka spruce top adorened with 42-style abalone purfling and rosette, but as pretty as that is, the back and sides are the real visual treat here!  We rarely see Madagascar rosewood these days that has this rich spiderweb figuring, it's the real good stuff.  

25 1/2" long scale with 1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Mahogany neck with Collings original mod V shape and diamond volute.  Ebony fingerboard with snowflake inlays.  Fully bound in ivoroid and has Style 3 marquetry back strip.  

The original gold tuners were swapped out for nickel Waverly machines.  The setup is slightly lower than factory and the guitar plays great.  K&K and strap button professionally installed.  

Condition is excellent with very minimal fret wear.  There is a small ding on the treble side of the upper bout (see detail) but that won't hinder your enjoyment of this lovely instrument.  Includes original hard case.
