2006 John Osthoff OM, Adirondack Spruce, Brazilian Rosewood - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) John Osthoff is well known among handmade guitar enthusiasts, you could catch him every year at a Healdsburg, Woodstock or Artisan show and play one of his lovely, thoughtful builds.  Compared to builds from recent years, this 2006 OM is quite traditional in appearance, but the voice is more on the modern side, very shimmery and with a lot of horsepower.

The top and braces are Adirondack spruce while the back, sides, rosette, bindings and peghead overlay are all Brazilian rosewood.  The neck is five-piece laminated, with a C profile, 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  The scale length is long, 25 1/2".  As far as neck depth, it measures .873" at the first fret and .971" at the ninth.  The ebony fingerboard has no inlay pattern.  The tuners are super-smooth Gotoh 510s in Gold.

Condition here is great, with a little bit of finish sink along the center seam of the back, two small filled dings in the top under where the right arm rests (very hard to see) and essentially no fret wear.  Includes original hard case.
