(USED) They're known for a certain kind of luthiery wizardry up there in Vermont, and 20 years ago this square-shoulder dread was conjured by Michael Millard and his small crew at Froggy Bottom Guitars. This guitar has the simple elegance that FB are known for, with a lightly braced Adirondack spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck and maple body binding and heel cap. The rosette and back strip have lovely marquetry with blue accents. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins.
Long 25.4" scale length with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle. The neck shape is a modern low oval measuring .825" at the first fret and .909" at the ninth. Condition is very good with no structural issues, though there is some lacquer disturbance/hazing around the bridge and the fretboard extension. Action sits at a strong 4/32" at the 12th fret on both Es. The guitar itself weighs 4lbs 14oz and includes original hard case.
