(USED) Here's a lovely dreadnought built by David Webber, up Vancouver way in Canada. It's a pretty thing, with classy appointments like abalone rosette and Snakewood body bindings, but the real star here are the tonewoods: Engelmann spruce (treasured for its warmth, rare on dreadnoughts) and figured Blackwood back/sides, which have a tight flame and a three-dimensional appearance akin to great koa. The tone of the guitar is rich but also sparkly, it strums and fingerpicks equally well.
Long 25 5/8" scale length with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle. The mahogany neck is a comfortable low oval shape, it measures .842" thick at the first fret, .898" at the ninth. Ebony fingerboard with no inlays, ebony bridge with nice tall bone saddle. Tuners are Schaller closed gear w/ ebony buttons. Clear pick guard.
Condition here is excellent with no issues whatsoever. Includes Geib-style hard case.
Mr. Webber is well on his way to retirement, here's your chance to score one of his fine instruments!
