2004 Collings D1A Sunburst, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany - USED

(USED) We've spent a lot of this year helping a great customer sell through a vast collection of excellent boutique guitars, and to an instrument the Collings in his quiver have been absolute beasts!  This D1A has "the thing" when it comes to the original, hi-fi Collings voicing.  One of those peel-the-paint-off-the-walls jobbers!

Adirondack spruce top with subtle and deep-set bear claw figure, mahogany back/sides/neck, lovely Shade Top sunburst and dalmation pick guard.  Usual Style 1 appointments include dot markers on the ebony fingerboard, tortoise top binding with b/w/b top purfling, 3-ring rosette.  Long 25 1/2" scale length with 1 23/32" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  The neck is Collings' standard modified V shape and measures .859" at the first fret and .939" at the ninth fret.  Guitar weight is 4lbs 9oz.  

Other than a couple very shallow and hard to spot dings in the top, condition is excellent with no fret wear and no structural issues.  Includes original hard case.
