(USED) Time flies, but 22 years on this Bourgeois Vintage D is still doing its job with poise and style. This vintage D is in fabulous condition for its age, with hardly any indication that it was ever played. It already has a rich and balanced voice, and we know whoever puts the next few dozen hours on this guitar is going to hear it open up nicely.
Adirondack spruce top and braces, figured Madagascar rosewood back and sides. Full 25 1/2" scale with modified V neck profile, 1 23/32" nut width, 2.2" string spacing at the saddle. The neck depth measures .834" at the first fret, .921" at the ninth... back in the days when all Bourgeois necks were shaped by hand.
The appointments are pretty classic for a rosewood dread: herringbone top trim, 3-ring rosette, ivoroid body binding, tortoise-style pick guard and zipper back strip. The neck has a diamond volute and the tuners are nickel Waverly. Instrument weighs in at 4lbs, 14oz. Includes original hard case.
