(USED) Anyone looking for a Martin, almost a quarter century old, with just a bit of that bling? This D-41 could not be in better shape, aside from a few very minor scuffs on the back, it looks basically unplayed. It has a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back/sides and a mahogany neck with a modified low oval profile (.848" thick at the first fret, .871" thick at the ninth.. that's on the smaller side, if you were wondering!) It has a 1 11/16" nut and 2 1/8" string spacing at the saddle. It has scalloped Sitka bracing and a maple bridge plate.
For appointments, it has abalone top border, rosette and large block inlays on the ebony fingerboard. Vertical CF Martin logo in pearl, body/neck/peghead bound in white plastic, gold closed-gear tuners, Martin branded. Action conforms to current factory spec and there is room to both lower the saddle and reduce relief, if it pleases you. One very faint lacquer check off the pick guard, a few pick swirls on the guard and the satin neck has shined up just a bit, but she's a lovely specimen. Includes molded hard case.
