(NEW) Here is one of our favorite and bestselling mandolins - the Northfield Big Mon - in all its glory!  The Big Mon, as you probably know if you're reading this, is an F5 mandolin that has been scaled up ever-so-slightly from standard F-model dimensions, tuned for a very responsive and rich sound.

This one has special Engelmann spruce on the top, a beautiful flamed sugar maple back and a tobacco sunburst finish.  It has nickel plated Gotoh Tuners, and gold plated Gilchrist tailpiece.

Standard 1 1/8" nut width.  For appointments, it is fully bound in ivoroid, including the ebony pick guard.  Includes Northfileld's wonderful Airloom Recurve case.
