(NEW) Big, Big Mon... so good to me!  The Northfield Big Mon has been a runaway success at our shop, with mandolin players driving in from far and wide for the experience of playing these excellent instruments.  As you may already know, the Big Mon is a slightly scaled-up version of the classic Florentine mandolin design, so it has a bit more volume and a bit of a lower frequency responsiveness.  We affectionately call it "F Extra!"

This one has an Adirondack spruce top, finished in high gloss with a black top and one-piece flamed maple back and sides.  It has the 1 3/16" wide nut option.  Standard options include radius'd ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, ivoroid binding throughout including the handsomely bursted pick guard.  Gilchrist/Northfield tailpiece, Gotoh tuners and comes in a grey Airloom case.
