(NEW) The mighty Big Mon from Northfield continues to be a top seller!  This F-Style mandolin has slightly increased proportions (5mm wider at its widest point) which results in not only more volume, but a more pronounced throaty midrange and bass response.  Think of it as "F Extra!"

The top is special Adirondack spruce and the back, sides, and neck are highly figured maple.  Beautiful darker burst on this one.  The fingerboard and bridge are ebony.  For hardware, there are Gotoh tuners and a nickel-plated engraved Gilchrist/Northfield tailpiece.  The pick guard is bound ebony.  Wider 1 3/16" nut width.  Hybrid varnish finish with vintage sunburst.  Includes the Airloom "Recurve" case in "Natural" color (tan/recycled texture).
