(NEW) Every offering from the great Kevin Kopp is reason to get excited... but the K-35 is something of a phenomenon, in and of itself.  We can't keep them in stock.  They sell quickly, and we never see them back.  In a world of restless one-in-one-out guitar flippers, that's a rare thing!

But it's no wonder!  Kevin takes the well considered design of the Gibby jumbo and he elevates it to the highest possible level.  This guitar, in particular, just floors us.  It is light, it is right, it is warm and responsive in every desirable way.  It could be called the pinnacle of the short scale jumbo style.  In other words, it's real nice!!  It reminds us why we not only sell but OWN Kopp guitars, personally.  Nothing else does this exact thing so well.  

All colorful language aside, what we have here is a brand new Kopp K-35 with torrefied Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides (as it should be) and Kevin's new ultra-thin "Closet Relic" finish.  This finish is put on as thin as possible, and then subtle lacquer checking is introduced to break the surface tension on the top.  This makes the guitar vibrate (and sound) like a vintage instrument.  We're here to tell you that Kevin Kopp doesn't go in for gimmicks.  This is the real deal. 

1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, short scale.  Comfortable C neck shape.  GORGEOUS hand-rubbed sunburst, that looks almost two-tone on the cooked top.  Rosewood fingerboard and bridge.  Bone nut and (tall) saddle.  Relic'd Waverly tuners complete the look.

Ignore this listing at your own expense... don't say we didn't warn you!  In the jumbo guitar world, they don't come better than this.  Kevin triumphs again, and we're ever-excited to be along for the ride!
