Drawing influence from her jazz education at the Afro-American Music Institute and her love of folk songwriting, Salvucci combines these genres to define her unique sound. \u003cem\u003eGrace Note\u003c\/em\u003e is brimming with vulnerable lyricism and tranquil compositions. The album serves as a reminder to give yourself grace despite your mistakes and imperfections. Recorded in the Funhouse and at the Sanctuary at Mr. Smalls with an array of Pittsburgh musicians, this album also marks a return for Salvucci, who first recorded at Mr. Smalls during a music camp when she was thirteen. While “Grace Note” embraces change, it also reconciles with the past.
