(NEW) Wow! Huss & Dalton have always known their way around traditional dreadnoughts, they're some of the best builders (and best people) in the business today. We particularly enjoy their DM dreadnought model, which some smart design upgrades to the "golden era" designs. The DM has a tighter radius on both the top and back, and this additional tension, along with the slightly enlarged sound hole, help with getting maximum projection and headroom without the guitar sounding tubby. They pair these structural innovations with an elegant look that really spotlights the wood selection.
This DM features a tight-grained, thermally cured (torrefied) Adirondack spruce top, rich figured fiddle-back mahogany and flame-y maple binding. It has a 1 23/32" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, and traditional long scale length. The bridge, pins and fingerboard are ebony. The tuners are Waverly 1129 Special Issue Vintage Oval. Truss rod access at the peghead. Includes original tweed-style hard case.
Wonderful sounding dreadnought, full and balanced... to nobody's surprise!
