Dogwood 11" Open-Back Banjo, Walnut and Holly Rim, Maple Neck - NEW - SOLD

(NEW) Our friend Mike Chew is making some excellent open-back banjos, with tone for days and lots of great details for fans of woodworking and handmade instruments.  Like his hero Chuck Lee, Mike at Dogwood puts a little something unique into every instrument, and the sound never fails to impress.  

This newly arrived 11" has a laminated rim with walnut on the inside and holly on the outside.  The 5-piece neck is maple with a walnut/maple/walnut center lamination.  Katalox is used for the fingerboard, heel cap and rim cap.  The hardware is brass and so is the tone ring.  25 1/2" scale with 1 7/16" ebony nut. 

Mike Chew is destined to be a big name in the banjo world, and we're glad to be along for the ride!
