(NEW) Thanks to a few thoughtful construction tweaks, we feel that this gorgeous OM2G from Collings takes their Orchestra Model design up a few notches.  Firstly, the pairing of German spruce and Indian rosewood, a classic combination on any Collings that brings the best out of both tone woods.  German spruce adds not only tonal complexity but also warmth and headroom, vs the baseline Sitka usually used as a top wood.  

In additional to that, we added more tonal intrigue by opting for the traditional combination of Adirondack spruce for the braces and no tongue brace included.  The Adi braces keep the articulation in tact, while the lack of a tongue brace loosens the upper bout for additional warmth.  It all comes together in such a lovely way.

If you know us, you know that we have a certain cosmetics package that we feel visually compliments an OM2G (or D2G, for that matter) which is "hold the herringbone" and give us stealthy tortoise binding instead of the standard ivoroid.  

Other specs include 1 3/4" nut with 2 3/16" saddle spacing, full 25 1/2" scale length, ebony fretboard/bridge/pins, zipper back strip and Waverly tuners.  Includes original TKL hard case.
