(NEW) For store stock, a nicely customized OM1 from the great team at Collings guitars!  This combination of short scale, Adirondack spruce braces and no tongue brace has been a go-to hack for years in our shop, a way to get just a little more of everything a player wants in a Collings guitar. 

Leaving out the tongue brace, which was customary on pre-war Martins, is an easy way to loosen up the upper bout, adding a bit more tonal depth to this less active area of the top.  Using Adirondack bracing on a Sitka top adds stiffness and tonal complexity.  Short scale has benefits in both tone and playability, and usually adds a layer of warmth to the sound.  All this, plus the clarity of mahogany... you're good to go!

Other features include mahogany neck with modified "V" profile, 1 3/4" nut width and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins.  Waverly tuners.  Includes TKL hard case.
