(NEW) Never a bad day to receive one of these!  Bill Collings brought mandolin production to a higher level when he threw his hat in the ring, just like he did with acoustic and electric guitars.  His instruments have impeccably balanced tone, and a pianistic quality up and down the neck.  

The MT-O is known for having a little warmer, rounder tone than the f-hole equipped MT.  This is due to its X-bracing model, and of course the sound coming from the sound hole.  MT-O instruments are "wide nut" standard, at 1 3/16", and this makes them popular with guitarists who are moonlighting on mandolin.  This one has a gloss black Engelmann top, and satin finish on the neck and flame maple back.  It's perfect in every way, and includes a TKL hard case.
