(NEW) Talk about a show-stopper!  This C-100 Deluxe was built for the 2020 NAMM show and it is nothing short of breathtaking.  German spruce is beloved around these parts, we feel that it adds a tonal complexity and headroom that distinguishes it easily from other top woods, and it pairs particularly well with maple. 

Maple, it's bright, right?  Common misconception!  Surely, some strident maple guitars have made it out of the bigger factories over the years, and it is a strong and stiff tonewood... but we ask you this: have you ever heard a "bright" cello?  Have you ever heard a "bright" viola?  Double bass?  Do you hear where we're going with this??

Maple, in the hands of the right luthier, has a compelling compliment of overtones that puts it right up there with rosewood and mahogany.  The C-100, as an up-scaled cousin of the C-10, is a great setting for the German/maple combo.  The wider lower bout and deeper body bring everything into perfect balance, and you'll hear it, too, if you can stop staring long enough to start playing!

The Deluxe appointments include full peghead, neck and body binding (tortoise with a cross-cut ivoroid purfling line) with a marquetry back strip.  The peghead veneer, fingerboard and bridge are all Macassar ebony.  The "C" shaped neck has a 1 3/4" nut, the bridge has 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  This is a long scale guitar, 25 1/2" to be exact.  Includes original TKL hard case.
