Collings 0002H, Baked Sitka, Indian Rosewood, 1 3/4" Nut - NEW

(NEW) This has become one of our favorite spec sets for this model: the venerable 0002H, a rather full sounding MEDIUM sized guitar with baked (torrefied) Sitka spruce and east Indian rosewood.  The torrefied spruce has a vintage-emulating dryness and quickness or response, and pairs really well with EIR.  The combination is focused and articulate, but still with the presence and warmth of the 12-fret design.  

We made a few more tweaks while we were at it.  This one has 1 3/4" nut width (vs the normal wider 1 13/16") and a SOLID peghead, for those who don't like to bother with string changes on a slot head.  Other than that, it's more or less stock: long 25 1/2" scale, modified "V" neck profile, style 2 appointments that include invoroid body binding, herringbone top trim, ebony fingerboard with short pattern diamond/square inlays, Waverly tuners.  Includes hard case.
