Bourgeois GA Custom, Grand Auditorium, Figured Mahogany - NEW

(NEW) We've made our love for the Bourgeois GA (formerly JOM-T) model quite clear over the last 7-8 years.  It is an astonishingly functional design, delivering the best elements of medium and large guitars in a dependably satisfying package.  We would argue that there's nothing this box won't do.  A first for us, we're rolling this out in all mahogany, and finely figured mahogany at that!  Short scale added for warmth and a little bit of flex in the strings.  Mmmmmm.... this is some sweet caramel, baby!

Yes, take a few moments to try to forget about how awesome looking this guitar is, and concentrate on the woody, articulate all-mahogany voice.  It has a character that spruce-topped guitars never quite embody, it's specific and it's insistent.  OK, back to the looks: well, just LOOK AT IT!  Is this not nice??  We chose a pretty austere cosmetics package here, with the hopes of keeping the beauty of the tone woods front and center.  It has tortoise body binding, simple dot inlays on the ebony fingerboard, a traditional 3-ring rosette.  Nothing too boat-rocking or fancy for fancy's sake.  

Specs: 1 3/4" nut width, 2 5/16" belly bridge, 25" (short) scale length.  Satin neck with comfy mod-V profile.  Nickel Waverly tuners with ebony buttons. 

For the person who wants a guitar that goes where the others don't, that's exactly what we were after with this GA Custom.  It's a good 'un.
