Beard Deco Phonic D-137 Highball, Engelmann Spruce, Finnish Birch, Slope D - SOLD

SOLD

(NEW) The third new Deco Phonic flat top from Beard is an absolute winner! A highly regarded local bluesman was in our shop today, and he has some to-die-for vintage and boutique builds in his collection... but when he played the Highball, he was absolutely delighted! "This is ALL YOU NEED!"

We agree. Outstanding value in an American made, vintage-inspired instrument. The top is responsive Engelmann spruce. The back and sides are laminated Finnish birch, the same used in the resophonic Decos. The size is slightly smaller than the average slope D, with a comfy 4 1/8" body depth at the tail block. Short 25" scale, with 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/8" string spacing at the saddle. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Full-body shade burst, open-pore semi-gloss finish. Stew Mac Golden Age tuners. Includes TKL hard case.

The sound is awesome, balanced mids and highs with a thick and satisfying bass thump!

You simply can't do better for a brand new, super-cool, depression-era-invoking guitar at this price!
