ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!
(USED) As '50s style Custom Shop Stratocasters go, one built by Vince Van Trigt is about as desirable as they come! Van Trigt was one of the absolute top builders at Fender until his recent departure (on his own accord) and he had amassed a nine year wait list for his instruments, certainly contributing to the rarity here.
This one is built on an ash 1956-style body, with a 1955-style maple neck. It has HW WW10 pickups in all three positions. The neck shape is a relatively chunky 1954 "U" with a 10" radius fingerboard, 21 frets and black Micarta dot inlays. Long scale with 1.65" nut width.
The guitar has a black Journeyman lacquer finished, and all parts are relic'd to a tasteful extent. The guitar weighs in at 7 lbs even. All original case candy is included, included tremelo bar, extra springs, leather strap, signed Certificate of Authenticity and full spec sheet. The instrument has no fret wear or play wear of any kind (other than Custom Shop relic job, of course!) Includes original hard case with Custom Shop logo.
Note: though the switch tip did not find its way into our photos, the original is indeed included with this guitar! Once again, this is a consignment piece and we can not entertain trade offers, however alluring.
