(USED) Here is a very, very impressive Orchestra Model from Boucher, up Canada way! Boucher is not only a well regarded guitar builder but also a supplier of some of the best Adirondack spruce being used on instruments today. They are leaders in the world of torrefied tonewoods, and by the sound of this OM, they sure know what to do with them!
Torrefied Adirondack spruce is beloved because of its already-broken-in sound, with quick responsiveness akin to that of a vintage guitar. This one sounds wide, and we mean WIDE open. It has a very satisfying depth of bass, but also has that OM balance that we know and love. The flamed Bubinga back and sides are hypnotizing to look at, and help this lightweight guitar sound even more complex and beautiful.
Long 25 2/2" scale length, 1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. Lovely dark sunburst finish with 41-style abalone trim around the top border and rosette. Koa bindings on the body and neck. The neck has a smooth satin finish and a modified V profile. The ebony fingerboard has no inlays save for the "B" at the octave fret. The tuners are gold Waverly. A K&K Pure Mini pickup has been professionally installed.
Condition is excellent with no issues to report. Includes original tweed-style hard case.
