(USED, EXCELLENT!) One of our favorites, the classic "cream top" Collings oval hole mandolin!  Oval hole mandolins have more depth and subtly than their F hole counterparts, and many find them well suited for classical, Irish and jazz music.  The focus isn't on the percussive "chop" but rather the nuance of individual notes and chords all over the fingerboard.  Being a Collings, you can count on impeccable build quality, choice of materials, and a piano-like evenness of response in all registers.  

This one comes to us in excellent condition, with no issues to report.  It has an Engelmann spruce top with creme color and gloss finish.  The back and sides are lovely maple with rich burgundy stain.  Being an MT-O, it has a 1 3/16" nut (wide) as standard.  Ebony fingerboard with compound radius, ebony bridge, Gotoh tuners.  Includes non-original case.
