2013 Martin CEO-7, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany, Sunburst - USED

(USED) It's the Martin that wishes it were born a Gibson!  The CEO series over the years have often been Martin's version (sometimes tongue in cheek) of some of their greatest competitors signature designs.  The CEO-7, which emulates an L-00, turned out to be a smash hit for the company, and we've had many of them come through our doors since its introduction.

This 2013 example has an Adirondack spruce top (wide of grain and with some pretty bear claw detectable under the sunburst) and mahogany back and sides.  Short scale (24.9") with 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Mahogany neck with modified "V" shape, not chunky-vintage but not low profile.  Golden Age tuners with ivory colored buttons.

The condition is good, with some light pick marks on the top, pick swipe marks on the pick guard, and a few faint pick scratches on the back.  The satin neck has taken on a shine from being played.  There are no cracks or structural issues, minimal fret wear under the unwound strings.  Saddle appears to have been shaved down with approx 1/8" showing proud of the bridge.  Though the guitar plays well and is not in immediate need of a neck set, this minimal saddle height is reflected in the lower price.  Includes original hard case.
