ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!
(USED) Just in on consignment, a very fine short scale OM built by Jimmy Edmonds of Galax, VA. This lightweight guitar has a vintage-inspired voice that leans to the Martin side of things, but also has some nice appointments that dress up the guitar just enough to make it stand out.
Nice tight-grained Adirondacks spruce top with forward-shifted scalloped Adirondack spruce braces. Honduran mahogany back, sides and neck. The neck has a modified "V" with a slightly girth-y, vintage-feeling profile. The nut is 1 3/4" and the string spacing at the saddle 2 1/4". Short 24.9" scale length. Ebony fingerboard and bridge.
Cosmetics include maple body binding and end graft, 3-ring rosette, tortoise pick guard, diamond fingerboard inlays and a very impressive torch inlay on the peghead. The tuners are nickel Waverly open gear. Bone pins with brass inserts and abalone dots.
Condition is very good with a few small dings on the lower bout (nothing through the finish) and only the most mild fret wear under the unwound strings. Guitar is set up with medium action, and it can take digging in with a flat pick. Includes original Guardian hard case.
