(USED) Huss & Dalton was slightly ahead of the curve on the L-00 revival that began in the 2000s and continues to this day. Before Waterloo, Iris etc, H&D developed their beloved Crossroads model, a no-nonsense guitar that eats the blues for breakfast but also does so much more.
Lightweight, punchy and woody describe the tone, and classic describes the vibe. It's a highly considered 14-fret L-00 that isn't overly compressed or boxy sounding. It loves the blues and fingerpicking, but is also a lovely singer/songwriter guitar.
Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides. Small spotlight sunburst on the top with two-band rosette and plastic binding w/ no purfling.
