ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!
(USED) A shop favorite, we've been really sad here at AMW ever since Phoenix closed up shop. A unique and artistic take on the American mandolin, Phoenix instruments are some of the easiest playing and sweetest sounding instruments around. We are fortunate to have this Deluxe model just arrived on consignment.
The two-point Deluxe has the classic combination of Adirondack spruce and maple, and even though is sports the recommended light gauge Thomastik strings, it is still nice and punchy! To our ears, it has more bark than the average Phoenix. It's pretty elegant, visually, with full-body tobacco sunburst, a vine inlay on the fingerboard, and a dark black head cap with phoenix inlay. The pearl nut is just shy of 1 3/16" wide. The tail piece has been upgraded to a James, and the original gold tuners have ebony buttons.
Condition is excellent with a couple small scuffs on the top and no real fret wear. Includes black fiberglass case.
