(USED) If you love eye-popping maple, it simply doesn't get better than this Ruby Elite from the great John Walker!  This is the kind of tight, flame-y maple that you get lost in, with three-dimensional depth that follows you around the room.  Of course, from a master builder like Walker, the wood is just the beginning of the story.  The sound is also excellent, it has that big, maple jumbo voice with all the projection and clarity that we come to expect from the model.  These make superb stage and studio guitars.

Sitka spruce top, exquisite figured maple back, sides and neck.  Fully bound in ivoroid with black/white/black purfling accents on the top, back, sides and fretboard/peghead faces.  Short 24 3/4" scale with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Three piece figured maple neck with mellow modified "V" neck profile.  Rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays, rosewood bridge with cut-through saddle.  Artistic shading accents on the reverse of the peghead and on the end wedge.  Gold Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons.  K&K Pure Mini pickup installed.  

Condition is very good with a few cosmetic imperfections.  There are some lacquer checks/cracks in one spot on the treble side, presumably from light impact.  There are a couple very small dings on the back.  Very light fret wear under the B and high E strings in the first position.  Includes original hard case.
