1990 Taylor 812-C, Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood, Florentine Cutaway - USED - SOLD

SOLD

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!!!

(USED) From the early Taylor days, when Bob Taylor was on the floor assisting with all things at the factory... this 812-C is in fact electrified (we would call it a "CE" these days) with a passive under-saddle pickup.  Even though this guitar is over 30 years old, it has been very well kept, and besides a few pick scratches and very minor fret wear, is ready to continue to serve.

Sitka spruce top, nicely aged, with lovely Indian rosewood selected for the back and sides.  Long 25 1/2" scale length, with 1 11/16" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays, Ebony bridge and pins, nice tall saddle with good break angle.  Ivoroid binding throughout.  Abalone rosette.  Gold Schaller closed-gear tuners.

Pick scratches on the bass side of the sound hole, a few light finish checks and dings, no cracks or structural issues whatsoever.  Includes original Taylor-made hard case in *fair* cosmetic condition... lots of tearing in the tolex, let us know if you would like to upgrade to something else...
