1976 Guild F512-NT 12-String, Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) Guild definitely ran the table on 12-string guitars throughout the 70s, and even today their jumbo model is *the* 12'er that many artists prefer; they are built like tanks, they sound HUGE, classic in every way.  Here we have a textbook example from 1976, on its way to the half-century mark, well maintained and with a strong sound.

Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides.  Super-jumbo size with 17" lower bout.  Fully bound body, neck and peghead, with deluxe abalone triangle-in-block inlays on an ebony fingerboard.  Approx 1 25/32" nut width and 2 9/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Gold closed-back tuners emblazoned with the Guild logo.

The condition is very good, with a few examples of repairs and routine maintenance.  There is a repaired headstock crack, as well as a repaired crack in the treble side of the lower bout.  Both repairs were professionally done and are totally stable.  The guitar had its neck reset by master luthier Bill Tippin, and has a nice tall bone saddle. There is a K&K pickup installed.  The original case is in fair-good condition, with some wear to the Tolex.

A fine Westerly Guild that still has plenty to give!
